Pang Hok village is one of the 22 villages located inside the Namghai-Namboun-Namlan national protected forest. Currently, hunting in the Namghai-Namboun-Namlan national protected forest has been seen regularly. Local villagers hunted wildlife for food and sell to the local market to generate family income. Sometimes, rare animals will also be sold to the traders who will cross the border to China.
