Energy makes a profound impact on multiple aspects of human development, including climate change and gender equality. Yet, 1.4 billion people have no access to electricity while 3 billion people continue to rely on solid fuels for cooking and heating. Access to energy services for IPLC is about energizing human development and mitigating carbon emissions. Therefore, our network will work with partners to explore best practices of decentralized clean energy solutions with IPLC in the region.
